Fishing trip #1: Booking Now
Columbia River fall chinook. mid August - October. The fall salmon season is the one for the biggest king salmon that return to Oregon's rivers. This is a very consistent producer of limits or near limits of salmon ranging in size from 20 - 60 lbs. Reserve early for this one it is a very limited season some years and can close early. When reserving for this trip it is best to have a back up plan for some coastal fishing, crabbing or catch and release giant sturgeon fishing if it should close early due to high pressure and high success rates.

Sturgeon fishing in the
Portland
Oregon area on the Columbia river and Willamette river. From October to May is the time to fish for keeper sized sturgeon (42
to 60 inch) in the downtown Portland area. The Columbia River and
Willamette River are great fisheries for white sturgeon. This guide trip is the one
for you if you like lots of non stop action. A normal day with 4 to
6 fisherman is 30 - 60 sturgeon caught in a single day. Sturgeon are
very aggressive feeders very hard fighters. This is a very easy
fishing trip
to plan for and is very near to the airport, many hotels,
restaurants and other attractions. The weather can be quite cool and
sometimes rainy by usually you are busy enough catching fish that it
makes it worth while. This is a great family outing that everyone
will enjoy.
Fishing trip #3: Booking Now
Columbia River and Willamette river Spring
Chinook salmon fishing. Springer's as
they are known here or "springs" as our neighbors to the north call
them are by far the best eating salmon found anywhere in the world.
They are actually members of the Chinook or King salmon family. The
spring salmon begin returning to the Columbia and Willamette Rivers in late February lasting
to early May. Springer's average from 12 lbs to mid 20 lbs and on
sometimes grow to over 40 lbs. The forecast for this years spring
run is good with the majority of the fish being the larger 5 year
old fish which run on average 20 to 30 lbs. Again this trip takes
place in the Portland Oregon
area and is close to many hotels, restaurants
and attractions.
Fishing trip #4: Booking now
Giant Sturgeon and Shad fishing. This
is a truly world class fishery. We offer guide trips on the Columbia River in the
Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area for these magnificent
fish. These giants average around 8 foot in length weighing in at on
average 200 to 300 lbs. This is a catch and release only. An average
day is 5 of these giant sturgeon hooked. These fish can grow to
lengths over 14 feet and 12 foot fish are fairly common. During the early May - June part of this season We start
the day by catching the bait - american shad. We use the shad whole
for the giant sturgeon. These sturgeon are very aggressive and
extremely strong and also jump often. The second half of our giant sturgeon season is Aug and Sept once the area immediately below Bonneville Dam opens up. This season is completely catch and release and is also fantastic for large fish and large numbers of fish caught without the crowds. This is not for the frail,
poor of health or weak. These fish will test any anglers stamina.
This fishery takes place from mid May to late July.
Fishing trip #5:
Newport Oregon fall salmon fishing on
the Yaquina River. We offer guided fishing for the biggest of our
salmon - the King Salmon in historic Newport Oregon on the central
Oregon coast. This trip runs from mid September to mid November and
makes a great family outing with all of the other attractions the
area offers when your not out on the river fishing. These Yaquina
River fall Chinook salmon average in the mid 20 pound range and can
go up to and over 50 lbs in size. These big salmon make a great

Fishing Trip #6:
Oregon coast salmon fishing and or crabbing trips. We offer salmon and salmon crab combo trips as well as straight crabbing charters for several of the coastal bays and rivers. We offer this trip in late July and Aug on Nehalem Bay and then again in late Sept to early Nov on either Tillamook Bay or Yaquina Bay in Newport. From early November into December we run these exclusively on Tillmook Bay. Catch limits of tasty dungeness crab and big fall king salmon. This is one of our most popular trips.
